Optical infrared head with USB-C connection

The optical infrared readout head is used for reading and adjusting settings in the UNIGAS 300 and UNICOM 300. It features a USB-C port, allowing users to connect their own data cable to the laptop.

An important advantage of this new design is its flexibility in cable length – users can easily choose the length that best suits their working environment.

Driver software
The USB driver for the optical infrared readout head will be automatically installed by Windows. A manual installation is not required.

Connection
Attach a USB-C data cable of your choice to the reading head.
Note: A charging cable will not work.

Positioning
Place the reading head on the optical port of the device.
Make sure the cable is aligned downward so the IR LEDs are correctly aimed at the sensors inside the device.

Attachment
The reading head is equipped with a strong permanent magnet that ensures it remains securely attached to the meter during data reading.

Safety Warning
• Keep the magnet away from bank cards, data carriers, and other sensitive electronics.
• Always cover the magnet with the supplied metal plate after use to prevent unwanted magnetic effects.
