We are excited to introduce our latest innovation, the 4-20mA module, developed entirely in-house at Wigersma & Sikkema. Both the hardware and software have been meticulously crafted by our own dedicated team of experts. This module represents a significant milestone for us as it is the first product based upon our own new “embedded framework” and utilizes “test-driven software development.” These cutting-edge methodologies ensure robustness, scalability, and ease of maintenance, providing you with a future-proof solution.
Our 4-20mA Module is designed for control processes in industrial applications, offering you unmatched reliability, accuracy, and flexibility.
Key Features and Benefits:
- Versatile Input Compatibility: The module seamlessly integrates with both the UNIGAS 300, a dedicated volume conversion device, and gas meters with low and high frequency pulse outputs. The module can also be used without a UNIGAS 300. This flexibility allows you to leverage existing equipment or choose the most suitable gas metering solution for your specific requirements.
- Accurate Analog Outputs: With two analogue 4-20mA outputs, our module ensures precise and reliable transmission of data to your control systems, enabling accurate monitoring, control, and data acquisition. The 4-20mA current loop offers excellent noise immunity and long-distance signal transmission, minimizing signal degradation.
- Digital Relay Outputs: In addition to the analogue outputs, the module features two digital electronic relay (pulse) outputs. These outputs provide you with the capability to integrate on/off control functionality seamlessly, empowering you to optimize your industrial processes efficiently.
We believe our 4-20mA Module can significantly enhance your control processes, enabling you to achieve greater operational efficiency and streamlined industrial workflows. The 4-20mA module is installed in an ISC230B using one of the 20-pin connectors. The ISC230B provides the Ex-safe separation of the connections from the UNIGAS 300 or a gas meter. This eliminates the need for additional Ex interfaces for the 4-20mA signal. The ISC230B can also be used to power the UNIGAS 300.
