RS350S PN16 available as of November 2019

Wigersma & Sikkema’s strategy is to maintain market leadership in the Netherlands, innovation and internationalisation. Our new RS350S gas pressure regulator fits exactly into this strategy. It is an innovative controller due to the patented insert system.

When the regulator is serviced, the old insert is simply replaced by a new (possibly revised) insert. The new insert has already been tested by Wigersma & Sikkema for good functionality. Removal of the old insert and assembly of the new insert is very easy and quick to carry out. The old insert can then be sent back to Wigersma & Sikkema for revision. This makes the RS350S a circular regulator in which as many parts as possible are reused. Moreover, by changing the insert, the valve size can also be changed.

Inserts are available in 5 different valve sizes. To the well-known range of valve sizes of its predecessor, the RS300S, of 22.5 mm, 27.5 mm and 37.5 mm, a smaller one of 17.5 mm and a larger one of 42.5 mm have been added. With this, one DN50 RS350S controller can cover a Kg value range from 185 to 1250. For higher Kg values the DN80 and DN100 versions of our RS300 regulators remain available. These are only available as PN10 versions for the time being, the PN16 versions of which we expect to be available on the market during 2020.

The PN16 version of the RS350S regulator will be available as of November 2019. Because the RS350S is now suitable for a maximum inlet pressure of 16 bar, this regulator can also be sold outside the Netherlands. The RS350S is certified for PN16 by the DVWG.
